First of all, let me be very clear - I am NOT a professional (or even amateur) dog breeder, trainer, judge, handler, or canine expert of any kind.  I AM, however, passionate about a specific breed of dog that has captured my heart and soul - the Dogue de Bordeaux. 

 

This blog is simply a chronicle of my adventures and misadventures, triumphs and failures, joys and heartbreaks, and the lessons I've learned throughout the years from having these magnificent, amazing beasts in my life.  I've learned a LOT from having a number of these pups in my life, mostly through trial and error (a lot of trial, and a LOT of error!), and quite a bit of my knowledge to date comes through the support and advice of other amazing DDB owners I've met and befriended. 

 

Hopefully the experiences that I share will inform and entertain all enter here, as I reminisce about my previous Dogues and bring you along on the journey of discovery and adventure with my newest pup, Stolenhearts Raelorasz Matasz Joie de Coeur a/k/a Raelor...
