Stolenhearts Raelorasz Matasz Joie de Coeur

The day after my heart-dog Targon went down with what we later learned was a blood clot in his spine, his sister/littermate Indica Bleu had a litter of puppies.  Within hours of my sharing the news of my beloved Targon's passing, his breeders (Stolenhearts Bordeaux), who were as shattered as I was, offered me the male pick of this new litter.  It took me a few days to decide, but it almost seemed like it was meant to be, that Targon left to make room for this new pup, so I agreed.

I had been participating in a Pat Hastings Workshop hosted by the Silver State Kennel Club (of which I'm Treasurer, so I pretty much had to be there) when Targon passed, but I learned a LOT about selecting puppies from her so I asked her to assess this new litter and pick the best male for me.  To my delight, she picked the same one I'd had my eye on, and keeping to the World of Warcraft theme that I used to name his half-sister Rasza (Stolenhearts Alexstrasza Starseeker), and as a nod to his ancestor and the kennel's foundation dog Razzmatazz, and also a nod to both Stolenhearts and Targon Heartsjoy, I came up with the name Stolenhearts Raelorasz Matasz Joie de Coeur aka Raelor for the name of this new boy about to come into my life.

5 weeks later, on Halloween 2020, I flew to St Louis, rented a car and drove to the farm in the boonies of Illinois, and took possession of my DDB#8...and so a new adventure began as I watch this adorable little beast grow, learn and become the amazing Dogue I know he'll be...and already is.

Please join me as I document his journey from puppy to adult and all of the adventures we experience.
